In a video on YouTube entitled “Idiot Spends $1.8 Million of Bitcoin on Old Hondas”, a YouTuber who is known as NSXTRA, Chris Cut, regretfully explained how he spent $1.8M now-worth BTC on two second-hand Honda sports cars.

This man was and still is fond of Honda sports cars as he mentioned in his video. He bought two cars. The first car was a Honda NXS Targa that he bought in 2017 on Valentine’s Day. He paid $30,500 in Bitcoin for that and believed that he had got a great deal and that’s why he even called it “a steal”. He paid 30.5 BTC for that car as BTC was around $1000 back then. At today’s price, we can say he bought it for $1.5M.

He also paid 6.5 BTC for another Honda in 2018 on a Black Friday. The price of BTC was around $4,300 back then. The 6.5 BTC paid for this car is worth $293,000 on the 14 of February 2021 when he posted the video.

It must be mentioned that he didn’t mind selling the Bitcoins back then, however, he was soo mad at himself 4 years later when he realized how much he had lost:

“But then I started doing some math and it made me kick myself in the ass and I feel pretty depressed,”

Overall, he has spent more than $1.7M on two second-hand cars and he regrets that. He is not alone in this. A similar case of such crypto-selling happened with Dogecoin Founder who claims that he has sold his Doge holdings for a used Honda Civic. And the most famous and yet depressing sale was for Laszlo Hanyecz which is known as “Bitcoin pizza”. He bought two pizzas for 10,000 BTC which are over $500M now.
