A 130% increase in the in the number of users is the good news for Brave Browser
Brave browser has around 1 million content creators and more than 20 million users.
This is a new record for the Brave, 20 million active users per month. It’s a huge improvement over the last year’s 8.7 million one. This also holds true for the number of active daily users which rose from 3 to 7 million.
Brave has also seen a sharp rise in its verified content creators on its platform from 300,000 to 1 million. This browser is a privacy-focused one and its users receive rewards for seeing its ads through its Basic Attention Token or BAT, and many of whom opt to allocate a part of all their tokens they gain to content creators all around the web. As of the inception of the project, 26 million BAT has been spent on the content creators.
Chromium is a software base on which Brave is built. This base also powers Chrome and Edge Browsers that belong to Chrome and Microsoft, respectively. This implies that the extensions that belong to the Chrome browser will operate in Brave as well. However, Brave explains and ensures better user privacy as compared to other browsers.
They have gone further and asked the officials to take serious measures against different tech giants who, according to Brave, are taking advantage of their users.
