A little bit about me and about unitedbit.com
About me: I am an economist by trained. I used to be an econ PhD student in a good university in Boston, MA. However, I dropped out of school partly due to I cannot have the required score to maintain my candidacy (and funding, of course). This was partly because, I, by that time, was not familiar with the US education system and the teaching and studying methods in a US graduate school (I come from a developing country, and had never studied at any institution in any developed country), partly because I was so much attracted by the economic/business activities in the States and its entrepreneurial spirit. Thus, even before getting out of the school, I have thought of being an entrepreneur. It’s as hard as studying in the PhD program, I am sure. And I am just at the beginning.
About unitedbit.com: This site is a collection of news, analyses, and trends in business, innovation and technology. Sources are from the well-thought, well-known publications and authors. All the pieces I post in the blog are what I found really interesting and worth to share with you, especially those without chance to access to the high quality writings which are usually protected by high accessing fee. Different from some other filesharing sites where the contributors/publishers may have yet opened a page in the books or articles they share, I read what I post carefully and try to highlight things/ideas that I, and maybe you, should remember, even learn by heart. In the coming month, a weekly newsletter, which summarizes the major ideas from what I have posted in the blog will be published. You can print it out and keep the printed one to read in any places that you can’t access to internet.
